As soon as King Bhoja reached the court on the seventh day and proceeded towards the throne, the seventh effigy Kaumudi woke up and said to the king, 'O Rajan, give up the insistence on sitting on this throne.
Only one who can sit on this throne is as talented as King Vikramaditya. If you have a quality like them then you can definitely sit on this throne.
Listen, I tell you the story of the supreme heroic Emperor Vikramaditya.
One day King Vikramaditya was sleeping in his bedroom. Suddenly, his sleep broke down on hearing Karun-Kran. When he listened attentively, the sound of weeping was coming from the river and a woman was crying. Vikram did not understand which sorrow is forcing a woman in his state to cry after so many nights. He immediately wore the Rajdipradhan and, hanging a sword in the waist, moved in the direction of the voice.
Arriving on the banks of Kshipra, they came to know that the voice was coming from the forest on the other bank of the river. He immediately leaped into the river and swam to another shore. Then while walking, we reached the place where the sound of crying was coming. He saw a woman sitting in the bushes crying.
They asked the woman the reason for crying. The woman said that she had narrated her grief to many people, but to no avail. The king assured him that they would do everything possible to help him.

Then the woman told that she is the wife of a thief and on being caught, the city policeman has turned her back on the tree. Vikramaditya asked if he was not happy with the decision. The woman said that she had no objection to the decision, but could not see her husband hanging hungry and thirsty. Since justice does not mention that she is hungry and thirsty, she wants to give him food and water.
Vikramaditya asked why he had not done so far. At this the woman said that her husband was hanging at such a height that she could not reach him without any help and no one would be ready to help the punished person due to fear of the king. Vikramaditya then said that she could walk with him.
Actually the woman was a vampire. The person hanging was not her husband. She wanted to eat him by climbing on the king's shoulder. When Vikram came to that tree, she licked the person. Satisfied, he asked Vikram to ask for anything he wanted.
Vikram said that he should provide the character of Annapurna so that his subjects will never go hungry. At this she told the vampire that giving Annapurna the character is not within her control, but her sister can provide. Vikram followed him along the river where there was a hut.
When the Vampire called, her sister came out. He introduced the king to his sister and said that Vikramaditya is the true possessor of the Annapurna character, so he should provide Annapurna to him. Her sister gladly gave Annapurna the character to her. With Annapurna, Vikram left for his palace. It was already dawn by then. A Brahmin was found on the way. He asked the king for food in alms.
Vikram asked Annapurna Patra to feed the Brahmin with food. In fact, many types of dishes came in front of the Brahmin. When the Brahmin ate his food, the king wanted to give him Dakshina.
The Brahmin had seen the miracle of Annapurna Patra with his own eyes, so he said- 'If you want to give Dakshina, then give me this vessel as Dakshinapura, so that I do not have to spread my hands for food in front of anyone.'
Vikramaditya reluctantly gave him the character at that moment. The Brahmin left the king and went back to his palace.
Kaumudi said, tell Rajan, would you have done this if Raja was in place of Vikram?
Having said this, Kaumudi went to the throne again and became incoherent. Raja Bhoja got lost in thought and started looking for other ways to sit on the throne.
